For more than 25 years, Simon has collaborated with craftspeople in woodturning, carving, gilding and paint finishing to produce work that delights the eyes of designers and their often exalted clients.

Beginning in the atelier of Pat and Edward Harpley, Simon first learned the arts of gilding and artisan paint finishing and began his long term collaborations with other makers.

During that time he has worked on projects that now shine in palaces, stately homes, museums and more modest houses in the UK, Europe and the USA.

Though Pat has begun a gradual shift towards a well-earned retirement, Simon continues to offer the same quality of work to all exacting design teams and clients.
